Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. GCash’s ceiling is defined as a balance held at any given time, per its own statement. Because the two figures track separate things, lining them up for comparison achieves little, no matter how routine that pairing has become.

The numbers you see here reflect a single moment, logged in 2026-09, rather than live updates. Limits and fees get revised by payment providers without any notice, which makes the provider’s own page the only source that’s actually current.

Verification tiers

• Basic — Purchases top out at PHP 50,000 per day, just as the wallet tops out at PHP 50,000 per month. At this tier, sending to other Maya users and InstaPay bank transfers are both off the table
• Upgraded — You must supply a video selfie, valid ID and a verified address. PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day sending to a Maya user, a PHP 100,000 monthly wallet limit, purchases up to PHP 100,000 daily, and InstaPay out capped at PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
• Super Users — PHP 500,000 caps the monthly wallet, and PHP 500,000 also caps daily purchases and sends. Criteria for qualifying an account into this tier go unpublished by Maya
• Ultimate Users — The wallet’s monthly limit of PHP 5,000,000 is mirrored by PHP 5,000,000 daily limits for purchases and sends. Criteria for qualifying an account into this tier go unpublished by Maya

The published ceiling of The monthly ceiling runs PHP 50,000 at Basic, PHP 100,000 at Upgraded, PHP 500,000 for Super Users, up to PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles same banking day for PESONet, but real time for wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers. That’s a description of the rail, not the casino — an operator’s own review can hold a withdrawal back before Maya ever sees it, and most of the waiting time traces back to that review.

A per-transaction cap of Sending to another Maya user maxes at PHP 20,000 per transaction, InstaPay transfers out at PHP 50,000 per day, under the Upgraded tier applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

There’s no gambling clause in Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions after a direct read — just general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Its separate CREDIT CARD terms name ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ a restricted transaction and set suspension or cancellation of the card as the consequence. In August 2025, Maya complied with BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 by stripping out its in-app gambling and gaming links. Two separate products are at play here, which matters, since a credit card agreement’s restriction doesn’t reach the wallet.
